About the Author

D.T. Liburd has worked in education for over twenty years. Originally trained as a designer, his creative problem-solving and educational reflection have shaped not only how he sees life but also how he wrote this book.

He began I Want To Go To Yellow not with a target audience in mind, but as a personal journey. The story grew out of an honest struggle: the quiet ache of lost creativity and the lingering weight of regret.

D.T. Liburd views the world through two distinct lenses. As a designer, he approaches life as a creative challenge, seeking simple, meaningful solutions to complex emotional and spiritual questions. As a practising Christian, he believes we are not random accidents but created beings, walking through a story that matters.

His hope for this book is that it becomes more than a novel. He sees it as the beginning of a conversation, a space where those who have struggled, drifted, failed, or grown tired can pause, reflect, and perhaps rediscover the wonder they thought was lost.
